Reflections On: Chancery Lane (09/09/2013) Another much vaunted precinct of the CBD, and one that I have been keeping a bit of an eye on over the last couple of years, has been the Chancery Lane area. This is an area of the city roughly bordered by Bacons Lane in the east, Chancery St. in the north, Kitchener St. in the south/southeast, and Courthouse Lane in the south/southwest. The primary entrance faces the open space of Fergusson Place in the west. Aerial views show an unevenly sided pentagram trisected by the Y shaped central lane that cuts between the three buildings of the tiny precinct. Each of these buildings is roughly triangular in shape but with a distinctive rounded aspect to their form.
