What's in a Feng Shui Audit for Me?

Saturday, 04 April 2009 00:00;

Why should any one have a Feng Shui Audit made on their home or business property? This is a question I am frequently asked. Let me answer by asking you a question in return.

Have you ever heard this?

“How’s life?” Maybe you have even had it directed at you?

And the response so often given:
“Not bad. But could be better. Could always be better!”

And therein that simple little phrase lies the answer to, “What is in a Feng Shui Audit for you?” The maximising of your full potential. That is the aim of Feng Shui.

As discussed in What is Feng Shui?, we know that it is better by far to have Mother Nature’s forces working for us rather than trying to operate in spite of them. A proper Feng Shui Audit will help you to achieve this.

What it is NOT

Perhaps for a moment we should look at it from the perspective of what Feng Shui IS NOT

  • Feng Shui is NOT a quick fix to all of life’s problems.
  • Feng Shui is NOT a religion, nor a philosophy.
  • Feng Shui is NOT a get rich quick scheme.
  • Feng Shui is NOT some quirky New Age fad, although there are certainly hoards of fadsters about!

Have you ...

If you have ever been subjected to

  • A sense of needless stress, of wasted capacity, of things being harder to achieve than they ought to be.
  • Poor health which is hard to define or diagnose.
  • Resources which seem to be simply frittered away, in spite of your very best efforts to control and manage them.
  • Bickering and friction amongst occupants with no apparant cause.
  • Then it may well pay you to discover what unseen forces of nature are working to limit the success you are having.

Check your Feng Shui.

Even amongst the Chinese themselves there is sometimes a perception that if life is going well and the family’s fortunes are prospering, there is little need to pay much attention to the Feng Shui. BUT the wise and experienced know that it always pays to check and enhance the forces of nature where possible.

The basis of one of the most fundamental of all Chinese concepts, the theory of Yin and Yang, teaches us that the only constant in life is change. While the tenet of ‘If its not broken, don’t fix it.’ applies here, this does not preclude the notion of preventative action being timely. Regularly monitoring our Feng Shui, we are simply monitoring the level and capacity of the resources that mother nature makes available to each and every one of us.

The person booking a Feng Shui Audit can expect to find life operating that little bit easier, that little bit more smoothly. The feeling that life has a sense of harmony and is being lived to the fullest. A sense of greater well being and fulfillment.

These then are the reasons for having your Feng Shui checked and some of the benefits you can expect to receive.

Current Services

The following is a list of the services we currently offer:

Design Building Specifications

Personalised Building Specifications according to the Eight Mansions of the Lo Shu / Ba Gua Theory of Feng Shui. We help you determine the most auspicious positioning and use of rooms in the planning of proposed buidlings, both domestic and commercial. We work with you and your architects to help design the most advantageous configuration of space to your specific requirements.

Interior Redesigns

For those planning renovations or building extensions to their existing properties, we assist with the design and drawing up of the most beneficial configuration according the individual specific needs of clients. Again we use the Eight mansion of the Lo Shu / Ba Gua Theory.

Written Feng Shui Audits

For those wishing to have a full written audit on their existing properties. These reports are presented as in-depth assessments of the current Feng Shui of your property and contain extensive recommendations of the enhancements to be made in order to help maximise the Feng Shui of your home, office or business premises.

These reports will cover relevant information on the four most important factors: Geographic Orientation, Environment, Time/Space Dimension and the Occupants. These written audits require an on-site visit by one of our consultants. Should this not be possible, we do offer long distance assessments but naturally these can not be carried out to the same high standards that an on-site visit will offer.
